The last remaining team from Atlantic Canada has been eliminated from Season 12 of “The Amazing Race Canada.” Tuesday night’s episode took teams to Falkland and Kamloops, B.C., as well as Jasper, Alta. Dana Martin-Kelly and Cordelia Richards from Wabush, N.L., were the second last team to arrive at the pit stop on the Maligne Canyon Lookout. However, the mother-daughter duo received a 90-minute penalty after failing to complete a train service challenge, placing them behind Chayla and Chyana. “We did our best, we never gave up, and I knew that challenge would be hard for me, but I would stay on that train and went back and come back again if I had to,” Dana said. Cordelia said she had the best time with her mother. “I’m so grateful,” she said. “I wouldn’t change a thing.” Award-winning hip-hop artists Maestro Fresh Wes – who calls Saint John, N.B., home – and his longtime friend Duane “D.O.” Gibson were eliminated in last week’s episode. There are now eight teams left in the competition. Next week’s episode will take racers to Québec. “The Amazing Race Canada” airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. Atlantic on CTV and streams the next day on Crave.
