Seems vampire love is not eternal.

According to reports in the New York Post's Page Six, "Twilight" darlings Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were at each other's throats during recent reshoots in Vancouver for "Eclipse," the third movie instalment in the teen vampire franchise.

The massive blow-up that reportedly took place between the famous lovebirds occurred as they reshot a scene at an Indian reservation near Vancouver.

Stewart accused Pattinson of hanging out until all hours of the night at a "racy London burlesque bar."

A source from the set says that Stewart nailed Pattinson for his bad-boy conduct in front of the director and crew.

Angry words were exchanged. The film crew was forced to break for an hour until things calmed down.

Summit Entertainment has denied the story.

Pattinson and Stewart have been doing their own damage control.

The stars were all smiles and hugs earlier this week for a taping on the "Oprah Winfrey" show. Their interview airs today on CTV.

But for all that kiss-kiss coverage the couple may generate today, the fact remains that the franchise's escalating success has brought with it some troubles.

Earlier this week news broke about salary squabbles holding up the filming of the fourth "Twilight" instalment, "Breaking Dawn."

Co-stars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz -- two runts in the scheme of "Twilight's" vampire vastness -- refused to sign their deals for less than $4 million a piece.

Greene and Lutz had initially banded together with fellow co-stars Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone to form a united front.

Sources say that Reed backed down and is now close to finalizing her deal. It is said to be in the $750,000-$1 million range per film, the amount Summit initially offered the four cast members.

Meanwhile, "Twilight: Eclipse" director David Slade is busy denying a falling-out with Pattinson.

The pair reportedly had a "serious" argument when Pattinson arrived late on set to do pick-up shots in Vancouver earlier this month in advance of the film's June 30th release.

Slade wrote on Twitter, "last 3 weeks have gone fantastic, pick up shoot felt more like a reunion. Rob, Kristen, Taylor the crew & I gave 110 per cent. Onwards!"

Uh, huh…

Stephenie Meyer has made millions off of her romantic vampire love saga. She's enslaved a whole generation of moviegoers and readers, and turned Pattinson and Stewart into Hollywood A-listers into the process.

Will jealousy, greed and behind-the-scenes plotting take this bloody big cash cow to the grave?

Will the Stewart-Pattinson love fest implode before our eyes?

If something really bites here, "Twilight" diehards will just have to wait and see.
