EDMONTON - Liberal Leader Raj Sherman says he is dismayed that the Alberta election has come down to voting for what he says are Tory thugs or Wildrose bigots.
Sherman says regardless of who wins Monday's election, it's important that Albertans focus on progressive values.
Sherman says only his party is offering the best combination of forward-looking and practical policies.
The campaign has been dominated in recent days by a Calgary Wildrose candidate who said being Caucasian makes it easier for him to communicate with people of all races.
The Wildrose has also had to deal with a blog by an Edmonton candidate who warned gays and lesbians that their lifestyle would see them burn in hell for eternity.
The Tories, meanwhile, have been criticized over recent reports that they have bullied doctors, municipalities and school officials.
