Her work has been recognized with some of the country’s highest journalism honours, including the Canadian Journalism Foundation’s Award for Excellence in Journalism; the Canadian Screen Award for Best National Reporter; multiple RTDNA awards, New York Festivals awards, and recognition from the Sidney Hillman Foundation. Raised in Richmond, B.C., her love of Canada is rooted in years of telling the stories of Canadians. She has worked in five bureaus across the country, and has had the honour of capturing the richness of the Canadian experience in communities large and small that lie between. She speaks English and French.
