A 41 year old man has been charged following a disturbing incident at a busy Calgary shopping mall.

Saturday afternoon, a shopper at Chinook Centre saw a man going repeatedly in and out of a men's washroom.

Police tell CTV the concerned shopper followed the man and alerted security.

"The witness entered the men's washroom and noticed a camera being placed underneath one of the occupied stalls." Says Duty Inspector Rob Williams. "What's alarming here is that he was following young boys into the washroom." Says Williams.

Police seized a camera and. It contained photos of washroom stall doors. Technical experts are now examining the camera for any possible deleted photos.

Shoppers we spoke with say incidents like this are worrisome, but don't think it's a problem related to the mall itself. Most told us they would never let their children use a public washroom unattended.

Police are appealing to possible victims to come forward.

Cori Anthony Cimolino has been charged with public mischief and is banned from Chinook Centre for two years.
