A vehicle erupted in flames near the Port Mann Bridge on Monday morning, snarling traffic during rush hour. DriveBC said the incident happened in the Coquitlam exit lanes of Highway 1 westbound around 6 a.m., and initially blocked two lanes of traffic. While the scene had been cleared by around 8 a.m., westbound commuters were warned to expect “major delays” on the bridge. It’s unclear whether anyone was hurt in the fire.
