Prince George of Cambridge is celebrating his fourth birthday on Saturday, shortly after accompanying his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and his sister, Princess Charlotte, on a trip to Poland and Germany.

In only four years, Prince George’s list of visited countries is exceptionally more diverse than most other children his age.

Here is a list of the young prince’s most memorable moments during his travels so far.

New Zealand

In April 2014, mearly a year after he was born, the little prince accompanied his parents to New Zealand for his first royal trip. The almost one-year-old made his royal tour debut in playgroup format, surrounded by the children of ten other families.

Prince George reportedly sat himself in the centre of the group and played with many of the toys laid out, even sending a young girl into tears when he reached for her wooden doll.

George could also be seen playing with his mother’s hair, chewing on it at one point, and clutching her dress before he was set down to play.

Australia

The royals followed up their visit to New Zealand by flying immediately over to Australia, spending Easter in Sydney.

Prince George, Prince William and Kate visited the Taronga Park Zoo where George got to meet the bilby that was affectionately named after the Prince. George was photographed clutching onto the plastic railing, peering down at the Australian marsupial.

Canada

The Royals made their way to Canada in the fall of 2016, this time with Princess Charlotte, who had recently turned one-year-old. The family visited areas in the western side of the country, staying at Government House in Victoria.

A children’s party was thrown for both George and Charlotte in a rare public appearance for them on the trip. Military families also attended the party where George, dressed in red shorts, a collared short and a sweater, played with a fish shaped bubble gun with his sister.

George continued to be enthralled with bubbles no matter the device, and could be seen blowing bubbles from a handheld wand while his father watched.

Poland

During his most recent trip, in July of 2017, Prince George was pictured mostly arriving in and leaving on airplanes, along with his younger sister Princess Charlotte.

Prince George arrived in Poland wearing a collared shirt, shorts and a frown. The nearly four-year-old held his father’s hand as they exited the plane.

Germany

On their final leg of a goodwill trip to Europe, the Royal Family arrived in Germany.

Only days ahead of his fourth birthday, George looked tired as he sleepily rubbed his eyes while holding his father’s hand. He continued to stick close to Prince William as they stopped to talk along the way.
