Gaming giant Nintendo has joined the Humble ranks, making some of the 3DS and Wii U's well-received games available on the website that allows users to pay what they wish for independent games.

It's the first time Humble Bundle -- normally a popular sales venue among indie computer game makers -- has offered console games, according to Polygon who spotted the story shortly after the site went live on Tuesday.

Joining the Humble ranks differentiates the company from fellow console manufacturers Microsoft and Sony, though the 3DS and Wii U games on offer are only valid in North, Central and South America (excluding Brazil).
