Centerpieces of haute couture collections, wedding gowns and evening gowns stoke the dreams of young women everywhere. These glorious bespoke creations also have significant influence on what wedding gown brands and stores stock. Here's a look at the most beautiful creations seen at fall/winter 2015-2016 haute couture Fashion Week ahead of New York bridal week (Oct. 10-12).

Elie Saab's luminous gown

The Lebanese designer's fall/winter 2015-2016 haute couture collection was called "Shades of Gold" and truly emphasized golden touches. The spectacular wedding gown was no exception, completely embroidered in gold thread. Gold lace and flakes and XXL patterns decorated the gown, inspired by Elie Saab's wife's wedding gown when they were married in 1990.

Giambattista Valli's princess gown

The Italian designer's latest haute couture wedding gown is in the traditional ballgown style. Practically all white, with only two black straps, this gown with a bustier in silk tulle, is covered by a silk brocade coat embroidered with crystal and glossy flakes.

Atelier Versace's subtly colored wedding

With its fall/winter 2015-2016 haute couture collection, Versace chose to go the pastel color route. The gown was presented in a very subtle blue and seems entirely decomposed, keeping with the spirit of the rest of this collection. It features a semi-transparent corset decorated with crystals and a slit skirt of silk and tulle mousseline.

Jean Paul Gaultier's Breton wedding

The designer themed his fall/winter 2015-2016 haute couture collection around Brittany. Gaultier's animal hide wedding gown features a skirt shaped like a crepe when seen from the front, and the look was finished with a tall headpiece inspired by the Breton look.

Julien Fournié's gloomy wedding

With his wedding gown, Julien Fournié has opted for originality with impressive volumes of black, not traditionally associated with bridal outfits. The material used for this creation is also unusual: the dress is made of cracked vinyl.

Ralph & Russo's spectacular gown

Though more traditional, Ralph & Russo's gown is no less impressive, if only because of the amazing work done on the embroidery. Totally embroidered with pearls, the gown is worn with a very long train. A real fairytale wedding gown.
