Another Heinz baby food product is being recalled due to potentially compromised container seals which could cause the contents to spoil.

The recall affects 213-millilitre jars of Sweet Potato and Beef Medley baby food with a best-before date of Aug. 4, 2017.

Earlier this month, Heinz Canada recalled its chicken with broth baby food in 100ml containers due to similar seal concerns.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says consumers should not eat the recalled products. If a child has eaten the potentially spoiled food, parents are advised to monitor the child closely.

"Consumption of spoiled food may cause symptoms such as upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea," the CFIA said. "If you have any concerns, please seek medical attention."

The CFIA says there have been no reported illnesses associated with consumption of the product.
