MONTREAL - Celine Dion has helped produce a new book being released today -- although she can't be there to attend the launch.

The megastar singer is in hospital struggling with complications resulting from her pregnancy.

Meanwhile, a book featuring more than 600 photos of her is being released in Montreal -- with the foreword written by Dion and her husband.

The book consists of photos taken by her former personal photographer of more than a decade, Laurent Cayla.

The glossy hardcover details Cayla's struggle with drugs, alcohol and depression as she accompanied Dion around the globe.

The photographer credits Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil, with helping overcome his addictions.

The photographer says that, without Celine and Rene, "I sincerely believe that I wouldn't still be alive."
