HALIFAX - Environment Canada is forecasting another storm for the Maritimes on Monday.

The weather forecaster has issued a winter storm watch for most of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and P.E.I.

It says a low pressure system will approach the region Monday, bringing heavy snow and strong winds.

The system is expected to bring snow to Nova Scotia late Monday morning, with conditions not expected to improve until Tuesday.

Snow developing in parts of New Brunswick on Monday afternoon could bring up to 30 centimetres of accumulation.

In P.E.I., snow is expected late in the day on Monday before turning to ice pellets or freezing rain overnight.
