TORONTO -- As the Royal Family and the rest of the world says goodbye to Prince Philip, CTV News will be bringing coverage of his funeral live to the homes of Canadians through TV and online.

CTV's Chief News Anchor and Senior Editor Lisa LaFlamme will be taking us through a look at the Duke of Edinburgh’s life of service and complicated legacy with special guests as his funeral takes place at St. George's Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

Live coverage starts April 17 at 8 a.m. ET online at CTVNews.ca, as well as on CTV, CTV News Channel and the CTV News app.

London Bureau Chief Paul Workman and London Correspondent Daniele Hamamdjian will join the broadcast live from Windsor, while Lloyd Robertson, the former Chief News Anchor and Senior Editor for CTV National News, will provide special commentary and insight.

Others joining the broadcast include British historian Suzannah Lipscomb and journalist and Royal commentator Afua Adom.
