Crash between semi-trailer, SUV leaves teen dead: Manitoba RCMP

A teenager is dead following a crash between a semi-trailer and SUV at the intersection of Highways 8 and 67 on Wednesday evening.

According to RCMP, a 43-year-old man was driving a semi-trailer south on Highway 8 when he collided with a westbound SUV as the driver crossed the intersection.

The 18-year-old driving the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-trailer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to investigate.
