Suspect arrested in pair of Tecumseh robberies

Essex County OPP have arrested and charged a suspect in connection to a pair of Tecumseh robberies that took place in May.

On May 4, police said a man wearing a black mask, armed with a knife, went into a store in the 12000 block of Tecumseh Road. He allegedly demanded for cash and cigarettes, running with an unknown amount of money and five packs of cigarettes.

The next morning, another incident took place in the 3000 block of Manning Road, where a man with a black mask and knife allegedly demanded money and cigarettes, running with an unknown amount of cash and five packs of cigarettes.

No injuries were sustained in either of the initial incidents.

On Friday, police found and arrested the Windsor man, who is now facing two counts of robbery with a weapon and two counts of disguise with intent.
