Suspect arrested downtown after assault

Windsor police have arrested a 38-year-old man after an assault last week.

On May 2 shortly after 2 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Patricia Road for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers says they found an adult male victim with facial injuries. He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On May 4, officers arrested a man in the 400 block of Glengarry Avenue.

He has been charged with:

• Assault with a weapon
• Assault causing bodily harm
• Uttering threats to cause bodily harm
• Failure to comply with an undertaking
