Spits take on Spirit in Saginaw

The Windsor Spitfires were back in action Friday night after a resounding 8-2 win Thursday night on home ice.

The Spits were on the road, taking on the Saginaw Spirit at the Dow Event Centre.

After the Spits fought back from 2-goals down - lighting the lamp 20 seconds apart to force overtime, it was the Spirit that would end things in the extra frame.

The final score – 3-2 for Saginaw in OT.

The Spits are back in action for a Family Day matchup at the WFCU Centre against the Owen Sound Attack.

Puck-drop is set for 2:05 pm.
