Police investigating after dead body found at Ambassador Motel

Windsor police say a dead body was found at the Ambassador Motel.

Officers and EMS were called to the motel in the 2200 block of Huron Church Friday afternoon.

Investigation revealed that an employee at the motel found the deceased male in the room so they called the police.

Detectives are currently working with the Coroner's Office to determine the cause of death.

Police are treating it as a suspicious death at this time, pending results from an autopsy.

The forensic identification unit left the scene with several evidence bags.
