OPP looking for witnesses after fatal motorcycle crash in Chatham-Kent

Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate a fatal motorcycle crash in Chatham-Kent.

A crash between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle brought emergency crews to the intersection of Communication Road and Fairview Line around 3:30 Monday afternoon.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.

The road was closed between Maynard Line and Park Avenue for several hours as police investigated the scene.

Investigators are hoping to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash, saw the motorcycle beforehand or has dashcam footage from the area.
