Heat warning continues Sunday, sunny weather all day

The heat warning issued by Environment Canada continues Sunday, bringing a high of 33 and a humidex of 39.

Sunny skies offer little relief from the heat, although a south wind will pick up this afternoon at 30 km/h.

Monday’s weather is similar, with sun and high heat, but Tuesday may bring relief to the dry vegetation with a 60 per cent chance of showers.

Sunday: Sunny. Fog patches dissipating this morning. Wind becoming south 30 km/h this afternoon. High 33. Humidex 39. UV index 9 or very high.

Sunday night: A few clouds. Wind south 30 km/h becoming light late this evening. Low 22.

Monday: Mainly sunny. Wind becoming south 30 km/h in the morning. High 33. Humidex 40. UV index 8 or very high.

Tuesday: A mix of sun and cloud with 60 per cent chance of showers or thunderstorms. High 31.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of showers. High 29.

Thursday: Sunny. High 29.

Friday: A mix of sun and cloud. High 30.
