E.C. Row Expressway ramp closures for 2 months

Lauzon and EC Row construction.

Two busy ramps on the E.C. Row Expressway will be closed for the next two months.

E.C. Row and Lauzon Parkway

Starting on Monday, May 5, E.C. Row between Lauzon Parkway and Banwell Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge rehabilitation.

As part of this work being done, the westbound off ramp heading northbound onto Lauzon, and the eastbound on ramp from Lauzon will be closed to drivers.

This construction is due to improvements being made to the Little River Drain Bridge, and the restrictions are in place to protect workers.

Speeds will also be reduced in the construction zone.

Construction is expected to last until July 4, 2025.

E.C. Row and Howard Avenue

The eastbound E.C. Row Expressway on-ramp from southbound Howard Avenue will also be closed.

The city website says it is to make improvements to the Grand Marais Drain just south of the expressway.

The work is scheduled for Monday, May 5, until Monday, June 30, 2025 (weather permitting).
