Police investigate dead body found in Leamington

Essex County OPP are investigating after a dead body was found in Leamington.

On Tuesday at 8 a.m., members from the Leamington OPP Detachment responded to an assist call where a deceased person was discovered in the 100 block of Erie Street South.

Police say the investigation is in its early stages, if more information becomes available, an update will be provided.

There is no threat to public safety at this time.
