Amherstburg man, 66, dies in crash between transport truck and car near Kingsville

CTV Windsor: Amherstburg man dies in crash An Amherstburg man has died after a crash between a car and transport truck. Rich Garton reports.

Provincial police say a 66-year-old Amherstburg man has died after a crash in Kingsville.

OPP say Paul Bolton died after the collision between a transport truck and a Chevy Cobalt on Thursday morning.

It took place on Essex County Road 23 (Arner Townline) between Road 2 and Road 3 near Kingsville.

Police say the northbound Cobalt crossed over into the path of the southbound transport truck and they collided.

Bolton was deceased at the scene, say police.

OPP collision investigators were looking into the crash.  The road was closed for several hours, but it has been reopened.
