‘70s vibes’ reunion being held in LaSalle

A high school reunion is set to take place on Saturday in LaSalle.

A special 55-year reunion is set for Saturday in LaSalle with some serious 70s vibes.

Sandwich Secondary officially opened up on Malden Road in 1975 and this weekend, an alumni reunion is being held for those who attended in that decade.

“We went all the way to the Supreme Court, and after a long, hard fight, we ended up getting a site, and the school ground was broke in 1973,” said organizing committee member Debbie Boose.

Between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. there will be an open house at sandwich followed by a celebration at the Fort Fun centre at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the events will be donated to the LaSalle community fund.
