7-week construction project begins on Sandwich and Mill streets

Starting Monday, Avertex will complete underground work at the southeast corner of Sandwich Street and Mill Street, related to Sandwich Street’s reconstruction.

The work being done includes a partial lane shift on Sandwich Street, south of Mill Street, and on Mill Street east of the Sandwich Street intersection.

Construction is expected to occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. over the next seven weeks.

After this work is complete, the City of Windsor will construct the crosswalks at this intersection.

There will be no impact on businesses.
