RCMP investigating fatal crash in Langley

One person died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash in Langley early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

Officers were called to the 20200 block of 48^th Avenue just before 2 a.m., the RCMP said in a statement.

“Sadly, despite the rapid response and efforts of first responders, one individual was pronounced deceased at the scene,” spokesperson Sgt. Zynal Sharoom said, in the statement.

“The circumstances surrounding the collision are still being examined, and investigators are working to determine the factors involved.”
