Police seek vehicle in suspicious Etobicoke death

Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a vehicle in the case of a suspicious death of a man in Etobicoke.

A man’s body was found on a lawn on Midden Cresent near the intersection of Martin Grove Road and The Westway around 7 a.m Sunday.

Toronto police say they are treating the discovery as “suspicious.”

Toronto police say they are waiting for a coroner to confirm the cause of death, adding they believe the victim was shot and left on the lawn.

Police seized a portion of a damaged hubcab from the scene.

In a statement released Sunday evening, police said they are seeking the suspect’s vehicle, which they described as a late-model, dark-colour Sierra or Silverado pickup truck with aftermarket tires and rims.
