Convicted sex offender Gordon Stuckless facing 19 new charges

Convicted sex offender Gordon Stuckless is facing 19 charges – including two counts of threatening death and six counts of gross indecency -- in connection with a sexual assault investigation that dates back more than 30 years.

Stuckless, 67, was arrested on Wednesday after police received information that three boys were allegedly sexually assaulted between 1978 and 1984.

This comes after Stuckless was sentenced in June to six and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to 100 charges related to the sexual abuse of 18 people.

As well, Stuckless previously pleaded guilty in 1997 to a number of charges that were filed in connection with the sexual assault of 24 boys while he worked as an equipment manager at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens between 1969 and 1988. He ended up serving four years in prison on those charges and was released in 2001.

He is now facing four counts of buggery, four counts of indecent assault of a male, six counts of gross indecency, three counts of sexual assault and two counts of threatening death.

He is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
