James Hinchcliffe hopes to avoid more heartbreak at Hondy Indy Toronto

TORONTO - James Hinchcliffe has tempered expectations ahead of the Honda Indy Toronto.

The Oakville, Ont., native heads into the upcoming doubleheader on the heels of an ugly season.

Hinchcliffe has yet to win a race or even finish on the podium despite starting second in five different races.

Poor results, mechanical issues and even a concussion after being hit by debris have given Hinchcliffe plenty to be frustrated about.

The lone Canadian left in IndyCar has never finished better than eighth at Exhibition Place.

Toronto's Paul Tracy was the last Canadian to win the event in 2003.
