Carey Price was reunited with his two pooches on Monday after the Labrador retrievers went missing the night before.

The Montreal Canadiens goalie appealed to Twitter users Sunday night, asking anyone around the Quebec community of Candiac -- a suburb south of Montreal -- to keep an eye out for his dogs Motty and Duke.

“If anyone finds two labs running around Candiac they’re mine,” he wrote on Twitter.

John Mastromonaco, a landscaper in Candiac, didn’t see Price’s tweet, but he tuned in to TSN radio on Monday morning when the radio host mentioned the missing dogs.

“Almost simultaneously I saw two labs following a jogger, but they didn’t have a leash on, nothing, so I asked jogger, ‘Are these your dogs?’ and he said, ‘No,’” Mastromonacotold CTV Montreal.

Mastromonaco said he then called the radio station to see if they could get in touch with Price.

But he noticed that the dogs were wearing tags with a phone number. He spoke to Price’s wife on the phone, and offered to return the dogs to their home.

Mastromonaco was greeted by the star goaltender when he arrived at Price’s house, and was given an autographed hockey stick in return.

Price and the Canadiens are playing in the NHL Eastern Conference semifinal against the Boston Bruins.

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday night at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
