TORONTO -- Defenceman Vince Dunn left Canada's world junior hockey championship selection camp on Friday with a pre-existing injury.

Dunn, who has eight goals and 16 assists with the Ontario Hockey League's Niagara IceDogs this season, could have brought an offensive spark to Canada's power play.

There's no immediate word on the severity of the injury or how long he might be out of action.

Hockey Canada has not yet named a replacement for Dunn.
