ContactSonja works out of the CTV News national newsroom in Toronto. Since she joined CTVNews.ca in 2012, she has covered everything from breaking news and politics to entertainment and lifestyle stories.
More recently, she has helped train journalists across the country in digital writing.
She was previously a health reporter at The Windsor Star, where she also covered general news, court cases, the U.S.-Canada border and the region’s labour force.
Sonja holds a bachelor's degree from Ryerson University’s School of Journalism.
