Bargain hunters, rejoice! While everyone knows to mark their calendars at the end of December for Boxing Day, Amazon has done Canadians a solid and started posting their savings events early, and tons of deals are already live.
That’s right — starting now and running through December 26th (and in some cases to the 31st) you’ll have access to hundreds of amazing deals, with major discounts on products from your favourite brands. From kitchen essentials to clothing to electronic gadgets, Boxing Day sales allow you to save on a ton of products. You’ll even see goodies from places that rarely host sales. And, many of the discounts will be on par with Boxing Day prices, so you can score them early and skip stressing when the main event rolls around.
You may want to sign up for an Amazon Prime account if Amazon Canada is your go-to for Boxing Day deals. Yes, many offers are universal, but to see your orders arrive on your doorstep lickety-split (you can get free 1-day delivery on many items in most cities, with no minimum purchase required), you’ll want to subscribe. It costs $99 a year (plus tax), but students can get it for only $49 (plus tax). If you’ve never tried it out, you can sign up for a 30-day trial period (seriously, now’s the time).
