Thanks to a small camera and an imperial eagle named Darshan, now you can take to the skies from the tip of the world’s tallest building.

Over the weekend, French group Freedom Conservation filmed a point-of-view flight of an eagle gliding from the top of the Burj Khalifa, an 828-metre-tall tower in Dubai.

The building is the world’s tallest freestanding structure, a record once belonging to Toronto’s CN Tower.

Through a wide-angle fish-eye lens, the two-minute video shows the bird’s journey as it circles around the sky before dipping down to the ground and landing on the outstretched arm of a man standing in a park below.

The group, which is calling the feat a world record, created the video to raise awareness for the endangered animal.

The Eastern Imperial Eagle, found throughout Eastern Europe and Asia, is currently classified as “vulnerable” due to intensive forestry and other human disturbances.
