Two Saskatoon men charged with child pornography 

Two Saskatoon men have been charged with child pornography offences following separate investigations by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation unit (ICE).

Police executed a search warrant at a Saskatoon home on June 3, following a six-month investigation that started in January.

On June 10, Terrill Scott Cowan, 33, was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of making child pornography available.

In the second case, police say their investigation started in April, leading to a search warrant executed at a Saskatoon home on June 4.

On June 10, 22-year-old Keenan Kakakaway of Saskatoon was charged for the production of child pornography, possession of child pornography, and making child pornography available.

Both accused appeared in court on Wednesday and were released with conditions.

Cowan’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 16, while Kakakaway’s is set for July 8.
