Montgomery Place residents adopt 40 kilometre per hour speed limit

If you’re driving through Montgomery Place, slow down. The neighbourhood has adopted a speed limit of 40 kilometres per hour.

The move comes because drainage ditches in the neighbourhood don’t allow for sidewalks in the community, forcing pedestrians to walk on the streets.

It’s hoped the move will make the streets safer for drivers and pedestrians.

Signs showing the new speed limit will be installed on Thursday.
