Regina police advise public of road closures for Queen City Pride Parade

WATCH: This weekend, Queen City Pride will be hosting the pride parade, as well as other celebratory events in Regina.

Some road closures will be in place as the Queen City Pride Parade makes its way through downtown Regina on Saturday.

Starting at 6 a.m., road closures will begin in preparation for the parade, according to a news release from the Regina Police Service (RPS).

The parade will kick off at 12 p.m., with staging on 12th Avenue. The parade will then move south on Broad Street to College Avenue, west on College Avenue to Albert Street, south on Albert Street to Legislative Drive, then east on Legislative Drive and into the Legislative grounds for more events.

RPS advises drivers to choose an alternate route, if possible, while the parade takes place, and are asked to keep safety in mind.
