A Quebec provincial police officer was shot in the stomach during a police raid Saturday afternoon.
A man reportedly shot the officer inside a home in the town of St-Lin-Laurentides in the Lanaudiere region of Quebec around 4:30 p.m.
Officials told The Canadian Press the home was searched and a security perimeter was placed around the building.
The police officer was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
One suspect was arrested and is now in custody.
