According to the Canadian Real Estate Association, sales through its multiple listing service in January 2015 were down 2.0 per cent compared with a year ago, with 15 of the country's 26 largest urban areas posting flat or declining sales. With this many urban areas seeing declines, what is the market like in rural areas? Trading downtown postal codes for back country roads, CTVNews.ca's Shannon Maguire takes a look at rural properties currently on the market across Canada.
