Police renew calls for information to identify suspect in 2023 Renfrew shooting death

Police are renewing calls for tips and information involving the fatal shooting of a 41-year-old man in the Town of Renfrew two years ago.

Jonathan Logan was fatally shot at a home on Vimy Boulevard on May 19, 2023 shortly before 10:30 p.m. Police believe Logan was “deliberately” targeted.

The suspect fled the area before police arrived and remains at large.

“Investigators believe this murder can be solved if someone with key information comes forward to help identify the person responsible,” police said in a news release Monday.

Police continue to investigate the victim’s death. Investigators are asking anyone with information to come forward.

“Even a small piece of information could help solve this crime,” police say.
