Police look to identify suspect in assault at Rideau O-Train station

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in an alleged assault inside the Rideau O-Train station earlier this month.

Police say they are investigating an assault inside an elevator at the LRT station at approximately 7:35 a.m. on April 9.

No other information was released.

Police say the suspect is a woman, approximately 5-foot-9, and she was wearing dark-rimmed glasses, a tan jacket over a blue hooded sweatshirt, a black scarf, dark jeans and tan boots with fur. She was also carrying a black handbag.
