Ottawa’s stretch of 20 C days continues, with the risk of rain this afternoon

Ottawa’s stretch of days above 20 C will continue today, with the risk of rain this afternoon.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for a high of 26 C today, with 20 C temperatures expected to continue into the long weekend.

The temperature warmed up to 26.4 C Tuesday afternoon, with the humidex making it feel like 28.

Ottawa will see a mix of sun and cloud this morning. Becoming cloudy near noon with a 30 per cent chance of showers this afternoon. High 26 C.

Cloudy tonight. Low 17 C.

Thursday will be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers. High 25 C.

There will be a mix of sun and cloud with a 60 per cent chance of showers on Friday. High 24 C.

The outlook for Saturday calls for mainly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers. High 22 C.

Sunday will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 16 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 19 C and a low of 8 C.
