Ottawa police find drugs in pickup truck stopped for speeding on Carling Avenue

The Ottawa Police Service says officers found a variety of drugs inside a pickup truck that was stopped for speeding on Carling Avenue Saturday night.

Police say the driver was found with crack cocaine when he was stopped for speeding.

That was when they searched the truck and found fentanyl, crystal meth, crack cocaine, pills, cash and a digital scale, police add.

The driver was arrested and is now facing charges.

Police did not provide information about the speed the driver clocked.
