Collision north of Belleville, Ont. sends 2 to hospital

Ontario Provincial Police say a collision north of Belleville, Ont. sent two people to hospital.

It happened at around 10:40 a.m. on Highway 7 between Highway 37 in Actinolite and County Road 41 in Kaladar.

The crash involved two vehicles, the OPP said in an email to CTV News Ottawa, and not three as police initially reported on social media.

Police said the injuries were not life-threatening.

A stretch of Highway 7 was closed in both directions for approximately two-and-a-half hours for the investigation.
