A chill in the air on the last day of April

A cold front moved through the Ottawa region Tuesday night, leading to a chill in the air this final day of April.

Environment Canada’s weather forecast for the capital calls for a sunny sky and a high of 10 C, about six degrees cooler than average.

A clear sky is in the forecast overnight with a low of -1 C, about six degrees cooler than average.

May begins with a high of 14 C and increasing cloudiness as the day progresses Thursday.

Friday’s outlook is cloudy with showers.
