The Ottawa Police Service will introduce its new Mounted Unit to the public today. Chief Eric Stubbs and Mayor Mark Sutcliffe will launch the new Mounted Unit this afternoon, which will assist police with demonstrations, “police visibility in the urban areas” and search operations.
