Tragic end to search for missing Sudbury man

Timothy Ramsay was reported missing last week.

Police officials say foul play is not suspected in the discovery of a body in the Greater Sudbury area.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service said Timothy Ramsay was found deceased in a rural area of Hanmer on Monday, by members of the Search and Rescue Team.

“Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Timothy,” reads a statement from police.

“We ask that you respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time.”

Police had been searching for Ramsey since August 3.
