Sault police seek hit-and-run witnesses, video

Police in Sault Ste. Marie are asking for the public’s help after a hit-and-run collision involving a parked vehicle on Sunday evening.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service said officers responded to the crash at about 6:50 p.m. on June 7 at the intersection of Landslide Road, Connor Road, and Sixth Line East.

Police said the collision occurred between two motor vehicles – one of which was parked.

“The parked vehicle was unoccupied,” said Sault police in a news release Monday.

“The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene.”

Officers have since cleared the scene and the parked vehicle has been removed.

Police said officers are continuing to investigate the crash.
