Help ID Sault LCBO theft suspects

Sault police and Crime Stoppers ask for help identifying two suspects in the theft of $80 worth of liquor from the LCBO located in Churchill Plaza on April 27.

Sault police and Crime Stoppers officials are asking for the public’s help to identify suspects in a liquor theft.

Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District, in partnership with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, issued a plea for help on Friday and detailed the incident from last month.

The incident occurred on April 27 at the LCBO location in Churchill Plaza.

“A male and female, while in the store, selected two bottles of liquor valued at $80,” said Crime Stoppers in a news release.

“They proceeded to conceal the bottles under their clothes and walk out of the store.”

Authorities have distributed the surveillance images along with an appeal for information.

“If you have information, contact Crime Stoppers,” the organization said in a related online video.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of either suspect is asked to contact Sault police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
