Evan Pang is a Digital Content Editor at CTV News based in Toronto with a focus on video. He was hired in 2016 to join a small team of multi-platform journalists who were given a mandate to build newscasts for developing CTV’s online video presence.
Over the course of three years, the team created CTV-branded web videos focusing on national and international news as well as lifestyle topics. The team’s projects quickly became one of the company’s most-viewed online video sections.
Evan had previous experience working on the video team at Huffington Post Canada where he developed web videos as well as two documentaries focusing on Canada’s Missing and Murdered Indigenous women and transgender reconstruction surgery in Ontario.
Evan holds a diploma in Journalism from Centennial College in Toronto, where he graduated in 2015.
